Arca Wellness · Facial Treatments

Sculpt from within.

Four specialist hands-on techniques. One 45-minute session. A lifted, sculpted, depuffed result — without a single needle.

What is this treatment?

This isn't a facial. It's structural work.

Most facials work on the surface — cleansing, exfoliating, masking. The Facial Sculpt & Lift works underneath: on the lymphatic pathways that clear excess fluid, on the fascia that holds tension and pulls your features downward, and on the deep muscles that, when released, let your natural bone structure emerge.

The result isn't just glowing skin. It's a more defined jaw, lifted cheeks, and a face that looks structurally sharper — because it is.

The Protocol

Four techniques. One unified result.

01

Manual Lymphatic Drainage

The lymphatic system doesn't have its own pump — it relies on movement and manual stimulation to clear fluid. In the face, stagnant lymph causes puffiness, dullness, and a loss of definition. Using precise, featherlight strokes that follow the anatomical lymph pathways, Lizelle directs excess fluid toward the lymph nodes along the neck and jaw — restoring clarity, reducing morning puffiness, and immediately sharpening facial contour.

Drainage · Depuff · Definition
02

Myofascial Release

Fascia is the connective tissue that wraps every muscle and structure in your face. When tight — from stress, repetitive expressions, or habitual tension — it pulls on muscles and skin, creating lines, asymmetry, and visible drooping. Myofascial release applies gentle, sustained traction to restricted fascia planes, encouraging the tissue to soften and release. The result is a visible lift in the cheeks, brows, and jawline — as though the face has been gently reset to its natural resting position.

03

Buccal Massage

The buccal massage is among the most transformative — and least understood — facial techniques available. Working through the inside of the mouth, Lizelle accesses the buccinator, masseter, and surrounding muscles from both sides simultaneously. This dual-access approach releases deep tension that external massage simply cannot reach, sculpting the lower face, softening jowl tension, and defining the jaw in a way that no topical or surface-level treatment can replicate. Results are immediate and often dramatic after the first session.

Gua Sha & Facial Tools

Gua sha — when used correctly — is not a casual at-home ritual. In trained hands, the tool works along the bone contours of the face to boost local circulation, reinforce lymphatic drainage, and extend the lift achieved through the manual techniques. Lizelle uses precision strokes along the jaw, cheekbones, and orbital area, working with the anatomy rather than across it. The finish: enhanced glow, more defined facial edges, and a warmth to the skin from increased blood flow.

The Arca approach

Anatomy-led. Precision hands-on.

Anatomy first

Understanding the fascia planes, lymph node clusters, and muscle attachments is what separates a structural facial from a spa massage. Every stroke and pressure point is deliberate.

Structure, not surface

We work with the underlying architecture of your face — releasing the tension and fluid that obscure it — rather than simply treating the skin on top.

Results that compound

Each session builds on the last. The more consistently you treat the fascia and lymphatic system, the more lasting the structural lift becomes.

"Most people don't realise how much tension they're holding in their face. Once we release it, the structure emerges — the jawline sharpens, the puffiness lifts, and the whole face looks more awake. After one session, clients often say they look like themselves again."

What you'll notice

In session. After. And over time.

During

Deep release

A sensation of muscle tension dissolving — particularly in the jaw, forehead, and around the eyes. Deeply relaxing for most clients.

Immediately after

Visible lift

A noticeably more defined jawline, reduced puffiness, and a healthy flush from improved circulation. Results are visible before you leave.

24–48 hours

Clarity & glow

As lymphatic flow continues, skin clarity improves and the sculpting effect deepens. Some clients report better skin overnight.

Over time

Lasting structure

Cumulative sessions progressively release chronic tension and retrain fascial patterns — creating a more lasting lift that compounds with each visit.

Combine & enhance

Great alone. Even better combined.

Chemical Peels

Add the Sculpt for R350

Lymphatic drainage after a peel accelerates healing, reduces post-peel redness, and helps clear the cellular debris the peel has loosened — enhancing and extending your results.

✦ Add-on to any Level Peel
Skin Boosters & Biostimulators

Maximise your injectable results

Following injection treatments, lymphatic drainage clears the minor inflammatory fluid that can temporarily obscure results — helping you see the full effect sooner.

✦ Book 48–72hrs post-treatment
Anti-Wrinkle Injections

Compound the lift

Myofascial release and muscle relaxation work in the same direction — releasing and softening. The combination creates a more complete structural result than either approach alone.

Questions

What people ask.

Is the buccal massage uncomfortable?
It's unusual, not painful. Working inside the mouth to reach the buccinator and masseter muscles is a different sensation — particularly if you carry tension in your jaw. Most clients find it deeply releasing once they relax into it. Lizelle will check in throughout and adjust pressure based on your comfort.
Will I see results after one session?
Yes — most clients see a visible difference immediately. A more defined jaw, reduced puffiness, and a lifted quality to the face are typically noticeable before you leave. Results deepen over the following 24–48 hours as lymphatic flow continues. With regular sessions, the structural lift becomes progressively more lasting.
How is this different from a gua sha or facial massage I could do at home?
The techniques used at home and in a professional setting share the same tools, but the outcomes are very different. Lizelle works with an in-depth knowledge of facial anatomy — lymph node locations, fascial planes, muscle origins and insertions. The pressure, direction, and sequencing of each technique is anatomically precise in a way that at-home practice isn't. Buccal massage in particular is only effective in trained hands.
Is there any downtime?
None. You may notice a temporary warmth or slight flush from improved circulation immediately after — this settles within an hour. Most clients go straight back to their day, or directly into their peel treatment. There's no bruising, swelling, or recovery period.
How often should I have the Facial Sculpt & Lift?
For initial results, a series of 3–4 sessions spaced 1–2 weeks apart is recommended. Once you've reached your maintenance baseline, monthly sessions are typically sufficient to sustain the lift and keep fascial tension from re-accumulating.
Can I have this alongside my injectable treatments?
Yes, and it complements them well. We recommend waiting 48–72 hours after skin boosters or biostimulators before your Facial Sculpt & Lift session, to allow product to settle. For anti-wrinkle treatments, we advise 2 weeks. The sculpting and drainage then work to clear any residual swelling and enhance the final result.
Is this suitable for all skin types?
Yes. The Facial Sculpt & Lift is needle-free and works on the muscular and lymphatic level rather than the skin surface, making it suitable for all Fitzpatrick skin types including III–VI. If you have any active skin conditions, please let Lizelle know at booking so she can adjust the protocol accordingly.
What should I avoid after treatment?
For 24 hours after your session: avoid strenuous exercise, alcohol, and excessive heat (saunas, steam rooms). Drink plenty of water to support the lymphatic system as it continues clearing fluid. Avoid applying heavy products or makeup for a few hours if possible, to let the skin breathe.
